Our worship is thoroughly Anglican, Common Worship and its lectionary are the basis for Sunday services. Our worship at 10:00am on a Sunday is led by a four part Harmony choir who sing both traditional and contemporary music, we use sung liturgy creatively. Several times a year we have a choral Evensong.
We endeavour to provide a wide range of different styles of worship including traditional and modern as well as substituting liturgy from other sources. Our recently appointed audio – visual system enables us to use silence, reflection and inter – active participation as integral parts of our worship. Prayer ministry for healing is available during and after the 10.00 service. This service is preceded by the ringing of bells from the tower.
We endeavour to keep a balance and hold together the ministry of the word, the ministry of the sacraments, under-girded by the Holy Spirit. This, we hope ensures healthy worship, with the power of God, to transform
the worshipper. Clergy are robed and seasonal vestments are worn by the president.
Services take place in the main church building unless stated otherwise. Please check the weekly newsboard for any changes and other information.
