Very many thanks to everybody who sent Christmas wishes to friends by means of the Church Christmas card. The money raised came to £84.00. This has enabled us to help three children to benefit from their education by providing two of them with hearing aids and one with glasses. Their parents could not possibly have afforded these items. BibleLands uses this money for the actual alternative presents chosen. Helen Price

has launched a 50/50 project to raise money for the famine relief in East Africa (http://5050.gd) 50 projects have been launched in 50 days including our son’s girlfriend’s project, the Pound Store (www.poundstore.co.uk) It is an online shop selling products at life saving prices for the East African famine e.g baby, medicine, food products. Any resemblance to Tesco online is purely coincidental! UNICEF is hoping to raise £1million for the famine relief.
